Does Anyone Else Think That Nbme 19 is Incredibly Easy

Did anybody else feel NBME 25 was a little out there?

When I saw I severely underperformed, I knew there was a tough curve but I thought I must have made a ton of dumb mistakes. After reviewing my test, I came to realize there were so many obscure answers that I had never seen in my life (Matured 80 percent of Anking) . Anybody else feels the same way? Ngl kinda demotivated after this test. I hope the rest of the new NBMEs arent this BS.

You be aight bro. Trust the process. My thinking is NBMEs tend to under predict anyway.

Def some fuck shit on that one

Plus you still got a few weeks ;)

level 1

Ditto. Confidence went hella down. But hoping it's just that one

I agree i took the NBME form 25 today, it was a diagnostic test (I'm just starting).... but I felt like it was so hard. I barely passed. I've almost finished first aid, done all of pathoma twice, have done anking throughout the year and have done all of sketchy micro and pharm. I'm right there with you!!!

AMBOSS SA 231

UWSA1 254

NMBE 25 -----> a grand 219

lol the drop

level 2

Hahah our drops seem to be pretty proportional

level 2

I got 239 on UWSA1 and 229 in nbme 25. 212 in nbme 23. My scores are all over the place lmao

level 1

I felt the same way after taking it today. Thought the questions were vague and pretty difficult compared to the other NBMEs. My scores aren't the best, but definitely not as bad as how I did on NBME 25

level 1

I got only 5 incorrect on one block and 17(!) incorrect on another. Really weird

level 1

Was a weird exam. I did poorly and did much better on the CBSE

level 1

Took 25 just now and I really feel really down because I did worse than my last one which was 22. Don't know what to make of it.

level 2

Yea I don't think you need to take much from it just learn from your mistakes and move forward. I don't think this test is a proper indicator of your knowledge lmao

level 2

Omg same here ! I'm stuck and feel like I'm failing and won't be able to improve in 4 weeks

level 1

+1

I took 23 a week ago as a baseline and didn't see any significant improvement with this

Looks like I picked the wrong two exams to start off T_T

level 2

I went 239 on 23 to 242 on 24 to 260 on UWSA1 to 228 on this 25 lmfao

level 2

Lmao I tool 23 as a baselines 3 weeks ago and dropped 10 pts on this one so if you got the same you probs made good progress

level 1

Matured all of anki and done 1 pass of uworld. I just took 25 today so I haven't reviewed it yet, but there were a good 5-10 questions that had things I've never heard of in my life. But then also some comically easy questions, just an odd exam?

level 2

I agree. There were plenty of very easy questions imo. I felt aside from the BS it wasn't hard at all, but there was also a lot of BS lmao. Definitely more than I was used to compared to 23, 24, and UWSA1

level 1

Def on the "did 23 last week and dropped 5 points on 25 day" train. 4 weeks out, got 214 on on 23 then 209 today on 25...all while getting 70% on both. Just waiting for an NBME to overpredict me to bring my confidence back up lol

level 1

Took 30 this morning. Had a lot of repeats from old exams, but a pretty fair test. I also think the curve on the new NBMEs is harsher than old NBMEs

level 1

I too did poorly. however performed much better on a different form.
